What is metalized film?

Metalized film or metalic tint means that a metal layer is built into the construction of the film. We use a hybrid metal/dye film the dye layer gives it that rich grey appearance and the metalized layer gives it the heat rejecting performance and fade resistance.

You'll find the video covers everything you need to know to tint your car or home. Because the there is no control over the installation process, the manufacture cannot provide a warranty on the film. This is however, the same film that they give a lifetime warranty when professionally done, so you can expect many years of use.

Are all the tools I need included in the kit?

The only thing you will need is a heat gun (hair blow dryers don't get hot enough) for automotive window tinting. A heat gun is necessary if you want to heat shrink curved windows. Other than that all the tools you will need are provided in the residential and automotive tool kit.
